Conservation Study Day
A Conservation Study day will be held in the Guild HQ, Wye House, London on Wednesday 15th July. This Study day will concentrate on the theory required to be successful in passing the Guild’s Advanced Accreditation in Conservation. Subjects to be covered include:
- Conservation Framing Techniques.
- Damage Mechanisms there identification and explanations.
- Mountboard definitions and Uses.
- General Conservation Definitions and Terminology.

In addition, there will be a short hands-on workshop on the hinging of artwork using Japanese papers.
Whilst this is primarily for those interested in taking the GCF and especially the Advanced Accreditation it is open to all who have an interest in Conservation Framing.
